Plant Manager II

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute site strategies for COGS reduction while managing growth and expansion
• Deliver year-over-year savings in direct labor and overhead using lean principles
• Take ownership of safety and security across people, products, and assets
• Build cross-functional relationships to optimize production schedules
• Reinforce the manufacturing excellence roadmap and hold teams accountable for performance
• Champion lean thinking and embed employee engagement into daily operations
• Identify and develop talent through selection and growth of associates
• Align training and development to future-focused skillsets

Requirements

• Proven track record in production or operations management for facilities with $25M+ annual sales
• Experience in complex, custom manufacturing environments preferred
• Experience managing customer relationships and ensuring on-time delivery
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, TQM, and cost reduction strategies
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business, or 8-10 years of relevant professional experience
• Minimum 8 years in manufacturing (packaging, process engineering, warehousing, or assembly)
• Minimum 4 years in a people management role leading disciplinary leadership teams
