About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct the coordination of all manufacturing departments to ensure compliance with company objectives, quality systems, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage production, maintenance, and administration functions to meet safety, quality, and efficiency targets.
- Promote plant safety through employee education, safety committees, and the creation of safety programs.
- Establish and improve productivity standards while preparing the annual manufacturing budget.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory agencies including FDA, OSHA, EPA, and USDA.
- Verify GMPs, HACCP programs, and AIB gold standards.
- Serve as the primary communication conduit between upper management and plant personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 8 years of increasing responsibility in a high-speed food/beverage manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Minimum of 3 years in a plant management or equivalent leadership role.
- Proven expertise in LEAN Manufacturing and process improvement.
- Experience operating within FDA, OSHA, EPA, and USDA regulatory frameworks.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (verbal and written).
- Ability to work flexible hours to manage a 3-shift operation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Functional oversight experience in engineering, maintenance, supply chain, and quality.
- Proficiency with SAP.
- Experience managing teams within an international matrixed organization.
