Responsibilities

• Own all production output at the Phoenix-area facility including throughput rate, takt adherence, quality escape rate, and on-time shipment
• Drive continuous improvement across all production lines through root-cause analysis and corrective action
• Hold final product acceptance authority and manage the workforce interface with on-site staffing partners
• Own site readiness across tooling, fixturing, material flow, equipment, utilities, and floor layout
• Ensure full OSHA, NFPA 70E, and air quality permit compliance
• Build and develop the on-site manufacturing team, including production managers, supervisors, quality, and facilities staff

Requirements

• Experience running a high-volume discrete manufacturing facility end to end
• Proven track record of managing large on-site workforces through third-party staffing providers
• Experience taking a facility from construction handover through first production to steady-state output
• Ability to design production systems, set takt times, balance lines, and write standard work
• Deep knowledge of OSHA 1910, NFPA 70E, and environmental permit compliance
• Experience building manufacturing culture through standard work and clear escalation paths

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel fabrication, heavy equipment assembly, or modular construction manufacturing
• Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Experience commissioning robotic weld cells, CNC processing lines, or AGV material handling systems
