Plant Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead production and program management to ensure assembly lines meet customer delivery schedules and support new product launches (APQP).
• Enforce strict adherence to automotive quality standards including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
• Cultivate a strong workplace safety culture and chair EHS steering committees to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste, optimize processes, and boost plant profitability.
• Manage department managers and supervisors, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Establish annual production plans and analyze achievement reports to drive future strategy.
• Supervise all production department employees during emergencies or contingency situations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
• 20+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• 15+ years of experience specifically in an Automotive Plant Manager or Operations Manager role.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP).
• Working knowledge of advanced automation and digital integration.
• Strong teamwork orientation, proactive planning skills, and a quality-focused mindset.
