About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of peanut shelling operations, including hull and fiber plants, to meet production requirements safely and efficiently.
  • Develop a high-performance team by engaging, coaching, and driving accountability and ownership at all levels.
  • Oversee environmental, health, safety, quality, and efficiency standards for plant and warehouse operations.
  • Maintain a strong site safety culture and ensure strict adherence to safety laws, regulations, and sound practices.
  • Manage department budgets, cost controls, and the development of a five-year capital plan.
  • Ensure the facility maintains world-class sanitation and food safety standards in preparation for regulatory and customer audits.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree and a minimum of four years of supervisory experience with increasing manufacturing leadership responsibility, OR a minimum of five years of hands-on production leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership expertise in safety and environmental compliance.
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills with the ability to develop team members.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
