Responsibilities

• Lead the full operation and maintenance of a 1,980 MW CCGT power plant
• Support design review, construction, and commissioning periods
• Ensure operational readiness before takeover from Owner/EPC
• Manage staff mobilization, training, and O&M staff support
• Establish plant policies, procedures, and implement CMMS
• Obtain all necessary consents, permits, approvals, and licenses
• Manage supplier selection, material orders, and inventory
• Oversee plant operations adhering to HSE and O&M agreements
• Develop and manage annual and long-term operating plans
• Prepare budgets and perform monthly analysis of O&M revenues and expenses
• Maintain a safe working environment and manage risks
• Manage contracts, compliance, and delegation of authority
• Provide monthly and annual reports on plant performance and incidents to the Board
• Develop strategic relationships with lenders, partners, suppliers, and regulatory authorities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical discipline or equivalent
• Minimum 20 years of total professional experience
• 15+ years in O&M of Combined Cycle Power Plants
• 10+ years in Senior Management roles
• Experience managing Gas Turbine LTSA/LTPA/Co-ordination Agreements
• Experience in Project Agreements Administration (PPA, O&M Agreement, Site lease, etc.)
• Proficiency in IT (Windows, Maintenance and Materials Management Systems)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and team management skills
