Plant Maintenance Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee equipment and facilities maintenance and projects in a manufacturing environment
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment using hand/power tools, multimeters, and electrical/mechanical instruments
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance system to minimize downtime
• Ensure strict adherence to OSHA regulations and maintain ISO documentation
• Maintain detailed maintenance schedules and manage projects for time, safety, and resources
• Train personnel on maintenance procedures and collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime
• Manage vendor interactions and communicate with internal and external customers

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant manufacturing maintenance experience
• Expertise in industrial maintenance equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and manuals and perform electrical troubleshooting with a multimeter
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proven problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a safety-sensitive facility
• Must pass a background check and participate in drug and alcohol programs

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree or technical certifications in a related field
• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role
