Plant Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling, procurement, and material handling areas to meet specific performance metrics.
• Partner with Plant Management to develop and implement processes that reduce inventory while improving delivery performance.
• Oversee shipping and receiving areas to ensure on-time delivery to internal and external customers.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools such as value stream mapping and kaizen events to reduce costs and indirect labor.
• Develop and document standard work across all supply chain areas.
• Implement cycle counting and automatic replenishment processes with suppliers and internal departments.
• Optimize material flow within the manufacturing facility to minimize costs and maximize resource utilization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing Lean concepts and MRP practices.
• Minimum of three years of managerial experience focusing on talent development, planning, and process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Engineering.
• APICS certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
• In-depth knowledge of integrated information systems for manufacturing, procurement, and distribution.
• Experience with visual management systems and Lean methodologies.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
