Plant Improvement Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause analyses for equipment failures, chronic issues, and unplanned outages to define and implement corrective actions.
• Create and refine preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to optimize schedules and minimize downtime.
• Manage plant improvement projects aimed at enhancing asset integrity, equipment performance, and process stability.
• Utilize CMMS data to identify underperforming assets and analyze failure modes, MTBF, and MTTR.
• Manage contractors, review RAMS, and ensure all work follows safe systems of work and management of change frameworks.
• Build cost-benefit analyses to engage stakeholders and facilitate project decision-making.

Requirements

• Proven operational maintenance experience.
• Strong experience in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving.
• Expertise in preventative maintenance and condition-based monitoring.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the business.
