Plant Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment to maintain functionality and efficiency
• Propose and manage budgets for engineering projects
• Plan and execute strategies to ensure projects are completed on time
• Research and develop new designs and products to improve manufacturing processes
• Manage, develop, and provide training to team members
• Partner with various departments and leadership to ensure project support

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
• Bachelor's degree or at least 4 years of engineering experience
• At least 3 years of experience in an engineering function
• At least 1 year of experience applying continuous improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher specifically in Engineering
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facility
• Experience using timekeeping systems
