Plant Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Plant Engineering, Utilities, and Facilities functions to ensure safety compliance and uninterrupted operations
• Drive continuous improvement projects and introduce best practices to enhance plant performance
• Manage capital and expense budgets, resources, and workforce planning
• Supervise the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of production and utility equipment
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, HSE, and Lean/CI teams to resolve issues
• Provide technical expertise and training to subordinates regarding Plant Engineering KPIs and Reliability Frameworks
• Manage contracts and vendor relationships for plant engineering and maintenance services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Seven (7) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
• Five (5) years of supervisory and/or management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Secondary Degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field
• Three (3) years of manufacturing maintenance or reliability experience
• Experience managing large-scale engineering budgets and cost-control oversight
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Basic understanding of Environmental and Regulatory Compliance, NFPA, and OSHA standards
• Professional certifications such as CRL, Certified Maintenance Manager, or CAMA
