Plant Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as a process expert in air separation, trace gas measurement equipment, and gas distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues using formal root cause analysis and reporting methods.
• Train junior employees and guide plant technicians during complex operations.
• Define project and maintenance objectives, managing cost, schedule, and total cost of ownership for new systems.
• Act as the primary leadership interface with customers and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
• Apply PMI principles to drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and methodologies.
• Champion cost-saving initiatives and innovative approaches to improve plant performance.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and available for domestic travel.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of process engineering experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of project management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Familiarity with PLCs, DCSs, and SCADA systems.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Ability to travel up to 5% of the time for project tasks and construction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JD Edwards.
