Plant Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute the Management of Change (MOC) work process to ensure all system and equipment changes comply with safety and operational standards
• Lead and support capital projects, process improvements, and infrastructure upgrades from concept to completion
• Provide project support for plant operations in Chesterton, Gary, and associated satellite locations
• Troubleshoot plant equipment and systems to resolve reliability and performance issues
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost performance
• Monitor equipment performance data and drive corrective actions for underperforming assets
• Maintain and update technical documentation, including P&IDs, SWDs, and site-specific operating procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or a related field)
• 3–5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of Management of Change (MOC) processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Ability to travel approximately 15% to support multi-site operations
• Flexibility to support operations during startups, shutdowns, or unplanned events
