About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate plant engineering functions to ensure maximum facility performance, profitability, and regulatory compliance
- Provide technical support for daily operations, plant improvements, and process optimizations
- Manage equipment acquisition, plant breakdown analysis, and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct performance tests and analyze operating data to develop operational plans and equipment recommendations
- Ensure all operational activities align with procedures, schedules, regulatory requirements, and budget projections
- Develop and maintain accurate plant operating records and provide technical guidance to operations and maintenance teams
- Solve operational problems and technical issues by modifying existing tools, techniques, or processes
- Act as a project or technical lead for ongoing processes or short-term departmental projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of professional experience in an engineering role
- Solid, working knowledge of electrical power generation or a closely related field
- Ability to work independently and use judgment within defined policies and practices
