Plant Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plant engineering functions to ensure maximum performance, profitability, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical support for daily operations, plant improvements, process improvements, and equipment acquisition.
• Conduct performance tests, collect and analyze operating data, and develop operational plans to optimize performance.
• Solve operational problems and technical issues by modifying existing tools, techniques, or processes.
• Develop and maintain plant operating records and provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
• Act as a project or technical lead for ongoing processes or short-term departmental projects.
• Make independent decisions regarding work and provide recommendations regarding specific functions or disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years of professional experience in an engineering role.
• Solid, working knowledge of electrical power generation or a closely related field.
• Ability to work with moderate complexity and use independent judgment within defined policies.
