Plant Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for the MEPRON production plant, focusing on maintenance, technical changes, and documentation.
• Ensure technical availability of the plant to meet production requirements while adhering to EHSQ standards.
• Plan, engineer, and execute capital projects for all AN production units at the Mobile site.
• Manage engineering and construction work for capital projects to ensure they are timely, cost-effective, and safe.
• Prepare essential process documentation, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment specifications.
• Identify and recommend concepts for plant expansions and upgrades to reduce costs and increase operational availability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and apply engineering judgment to solve complex technical problems.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Direct experience with capital projects, including equipment design, project engineering, and project management.
• Extensive knowledge of maintenance processes and tools.
• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with SAP software.
• Experience working within a highly regulated industrial environment.
