Plant Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement process optimization projects in production and maintenance to improve operational efficiency and productivity
• Design and execute continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Site Manager and leadership team
• Prepare comprehensive monthly reports on strategic KPIs, including production, efficiency metrics, consumption rates, and investment tracking
• Conduct economic feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new projects, equipment investments, and process improvements
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for materials, equipment, and technical services
• Monitor and report on operational KPIs to drive data-based decision-making
• Provide technical support for integrated management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 50001)
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management requirements
• Act as a backup for the Production Manager to ensure operational continuity

Requirements

• University degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 1 year of practical experience in industrial manufacturing processes, preferably in the chemical industry
• Deep technical knowledge of industrial processes, equipment, and production systems
• High level of English proficiency (written and spoken) for effective communication in a global organization
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data to drive improvements
• Knowledge of occupational risk prevention (PRL), industrial safety, and environmental compliance
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 management systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
