Plant Controller

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor fixed, variable, and MPE (Manufacturing, Production, and Engineering) costs on a monthly basis
• Prepare monthly forecasts, ad-hoc cost reports, and conduct variance analysis to identify business drivers
• Support annual plant Profit Objective preparation and ongoing financial planning through cost simulations
• Review unit prices for manufactured materials and maintain Material Master Data accuracy
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure the accuracy of process orders and inventory data
• Partner with plant leadership to identify business improvement opportunities and influence decision-making
• Ensure strong SOX controls and maintain compliant processes for internal and external audits
• Provide financial guidance and support to non-finance colleagues regarding accounting and accruals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a controlling, finance, or accounting role within a manufacturing or plant environment
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of internal controls (SOX), cost accounting, and inventory management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in SAP BW, Power BI, and PowerPoint
• Experience working within a global team structure
