Plant Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant-level accounting operations, including general ledger, cost accounting, and accounts payable/receivable
• Maintain internal controls ensuring compliance with GAAP and corporate policies
• Manage inventory and cost accounting, including product costing, standard cost updates, and variance analysis
• Partner with Corporate FP&A to prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts
• Track and communicate key operational metrics such as yield, throughput, labor efficiency, and waste reduction
• Lead the capital planning process for plant and equipment investments
• Lead and mentor a team of plant accounting and finance professionals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven supervisory and leadership experience
• Expertise in manufacturing cost accounting and GAAP compliance
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Power BI
