Plant Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial activities for month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, P&L analysis, and variance reporting using SAP and Power BI
• Execute and report counter-action plans to improve financial performance when deviations from the plan occur
• Participate in daily/weekly SQDC meetings to drive commitment to financial targets
• Perform yearly budgeting and monthly forecasting, ensuring all risks and opportunities are captured
• Manage product costing processes, cost center planning, internal orders, tariffs, and routings within SAP
• Handle investment controlling, inventory management, headcount reporting, and ad-hoc plant analysis
• Implement internal control systems to ensure compliance with company procedures and minimize financial risks
• Coordinate with regional functions for project controlling and business case calculations
• Develop standard reporting packages and manage periodic operations KPI reporting for management

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial finance environment
• Experience working within a fast-paced, matrix organizational structure
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel
• Experience working with ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree
• CPA or CMA certification
• Direct experience with SAP ERP systems
• Experience within the automotive industry
