Plant Controller

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the financial performance of the manufacturing plant, including manufacturing cost, inventory, CAPEX, and COGS
• Prepare and analyze monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and standard cost updates
• Support monthly variance analysis for labor, overhead, absorption, material usage, and purchase price
• Identify and validate Continuous Improvement (CI) and savings initiatives in collaboration with Operations and Engineering
• Support month-end closing activities, including inventory reconciliation, WIP review, and variance analysis
• Execute calculation and reporting of warranty provisions, inventory reserves, and E&O inventory
• Maintain accurate BOMs, routings, and cost center rates in the ERP system
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to monitor inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and scrap reporting
• Coordinate CAPEX site-specific requests, spending, and post-implementation ROI validation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing finance or cost accounting
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, formulas, and financial modeling
• Proficiency with Power BI and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably QAD
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Ability to work independently and build strong partnerships with plant operations and corporate finance teams
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
