Plant Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Perform complex reconciliations for inventory, intercompany transactions, and revenue recognition
• Assist in developing and managing the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making
• Review and analyze variances between actual results and budgeted targets
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Support the preparation of financial data for audits and liaise with external auditors
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within the finance department
• Participate in cost analysis and recommend cost-saving initiatives
• Collaborate with the cost accounting team to analyze product costs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial analysis
• Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and lead project teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as CPA
