Plant Assistant

Responsibilities

• Lead and control production units in accordance with legal requirements, Clariant standards, and business unit goals
• Manage budget planning and ensure timely production regarding quality, quantity, and cost
• Create SOPs and manufacturing instructions to ensure uniform and efficient production processes
• Review product portfolios and conduct plant trials and product transfers in collaboration with R&D and Engineering
• Promote continuous improvement processes (Clariant Excellence) and support Lean/Belt projects
• Initiate and conduct risk analyses and assessments to ensure the implementation of protective measures
• Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards and audits (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
• Provide technical guidance to masters and shift personnel and support the onboarding of new employees

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering sciences, or a comparable qualification
• Multi-year experience in production or operations within the chemical industry
• Fluent German and English skills (written and spoken) are mandatory
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate professionally across all organizational levels
• Proficiency in SAP and a willingness to actively use digital tools in a production environment
