Plant and Terminal Operator

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bunker operations for vessels at the Port
• Discharging fuel tankers into Oil Industry Terminal tanks
• Performing manual handling of up to 25kgs
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Maintaining flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays

Requirements

• Ability to work in a busy environment and manage time effectively
• Demonstrated skill in following operating procedures and health and safety requirements
• Current and unrestricted New Zealand Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a drug screening and MOJ process
• Right to work in New Zealand
• Computer literacy
• Good verbal communication and record-keeping skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the Oil, Gas, and Chemical Industry
• Forklift License
