About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop Schedule Plans, Basis of Schedule, and various levels of project schedules for different project phases
  • Create resource-loaded Level 3 schedules using Primavera and coordinate overall planning activities
  • Maintain and update the master integrated project schedule, ensuring alignment with project team disciplines and contractors
  • Oversee contractor schedule activities, including durations, logic, resource loading, and forecasts
  • Communicate project schedules, probabilistic outcomes (S-Curves), and recommended milestones to project leaders
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure delivery deadlines are met and activities are adequately planned
  • Interface with Project Controls to assess and update schedule impacts resulting from changes in work progress
  • Lead schedule assurance activities and participate in Integrated Cost and Schedule Risk Assessments (ICSA)
  • Collect and utilize data and lessons learned to continuously improve planning and scheduling processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B. Tech) in engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of planning experience, specifically including project design and execution for Oil and Gas projects
  • Proficiency in Primavera
  • Strong knowledge of schedule development and coding
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and interface between engineering, procurement, fabrication, and commissioning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to understand project scope and execution methodology to provide insights to execution teams
  • Experience working across complex interfaces including engineering, procurement, and fabrication
