Planning Operations Lead

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Ready processes in Supply Chain Operations to ensure consistent product supply.
• Develop and monitor metrics for Ready & Inventory to assess progress and track initiatives.
• Lead investigations and Root Cause Analysis to provide permanent operational solutions.
• Provide leadership for Global External Operations ERP systems and ensure disciplined use of data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Finance, IT, and external manufacturing partners.
• Identify resource, system, and process requirements to support business growth and new product modalities.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to colleagues on supply chain processes and operational excellence.
• Lead improvement projects and develop business cases for new initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Business, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector.
• Proven expertise in Master Scheduling, Inventory Analysis, and Management.
• Extensive experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration and building external partnerships.
• Excellent communication skills, including formal presentations to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP).
• Hands-on expertise in planning and scheduling management.
• Deep familiarity with SAP or similar ERP/MRP workflows.
• Training in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
