Planning Manager

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain project schedules in alignment with consultant and contractor submissions
• Lead resource planning activities to determine required resource levels and manage team delivery
• Perform schedule analysis to identify performance trends and propose mitigation strategies
• Identify potential or emerging schedule issues at the site level and recommend solutions
• Manage, coach, and mentor junior staff to support departmental objectives
• Coordinate with commercial teams to support controls across budget, cost, reporting, risk, and change management
• Ensure weekly and monthly schedule updates as design and construction progress
• Integrate inter-disciplinary schedule requirements to establish logical work sequences

Requirements

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
• Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Proven experience managing a team to deliver results
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and issue-resolution skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Primavera Certification
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
• Proficiency in Power BI
