Planning Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Local Planning Team to deliver effective transport plans
• Manage the Daily Transport Plan and ensure Team Leaders carry out daily duties
• Perform daily analysis of P&L for planning boards
• Monitor Empty Legs, ISOTRAK group analysis, and national fleet status boards
• Liaise with Team Leaders and Transport Managers to ensure compliance and resolve issues
• Provide leadership, guidance, and training to the planning team
• Manage team absence, holidays, and organizational capability through appraisals

Requirements

• Previous planning experience
• Experience leading, motivating, and managing a team
• Qualification in WTD & EU Drivers Hours compliance
• Expert knowledge of GTS and ISOTRAK applications
• IT literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Demonstrable planning and problem-solving skills
• Nationally recognised Health & Safety Accreditation

Preferred Qualifications

• CPC National Qualification
