About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation, development, and continuous improvement of production planning and scheduling processes.
- Develop engine workscope planning and detailed maintenance scheduling to support efficient shop operations and turnaround times (TAT).
- Prioritize and adjust schedules based on operational changes, customer requirements, and shop findings.
- Coordinate planning activities across the organization to ensure an efficient end-to-end process.
- Monitor schedule adherence, identify bottlenecks, and drive corrective actions to improve performance.
- Support ERP/MRO system development, planning tools, and automation initiatives.
- Conduct workload forecasting and support capacity, staffing, and resource planning.
- Lead and develop the Planning team while promoting operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in Production Planning, MRO planning, or aviation maintenance operations.
- Proven leadership experience within an aviation maintenance environment.
- In-depth understanding of OEM maintenance requirements, aviation regulations, and airworthiness directives.
- Strong analytical, financial, and operational decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading process development, operational improvement, and automation initiatives.
- Experience working within a safety-critical and highly regulated aviation environment.
