Planning Lead

Responsibilities

• Build high-level "Path to Break Ground" schedules, identifying critical decision milestones and potential sunk cost risks.
• Manage the early phase of projects from due diligence through handoff to preconstruction and delivery teams.
• Provide master plan analysis for future sites, including logistics, geotechnical analysis, and local requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering Product Development to influence design for constructability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Set project cost and schedule targets and coordinate with cross-functional teams including energy, site selection, and product design.
• Leverage expertise in scheduling and cost to inform engineering strategy, value engineering, and financial analysis.
• Anticipate the need for new processes and tooling to improve organizational efficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in construction management, preconstruction, engineering, or scheduling.
• Proven experience in Mission Critical or Data Center environments, including hyperscale builds.
• Proficiency in P6 or equivalent advanced scheduling tools with a deep understanding of critical path analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of large capital programs, greenfield site development, and ground-up construction.
• Strong expertise in preconstruction processes, including site development, budget development, and risk management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering.
• Advanced degree or professional certification in Project Management or Scheduling.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable efficiency gains.
• Experience with complex supply chain analysis and commercial contract delivery methods.
