Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline project schedules using Primavera P6, including WBS, activity sequencing, and logic links.
• Prepare resource-loaded schedules, S-curves, and histograms.
• Update schedules weekly and monthly to track progress against the baseline.
• Prepare 2-week, 4-week, and 6-week look-ahead plans.
• Analyze schedule performance to identify deviations, risks, and critical path impacts.
• Support Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
• Coordinate with site teams, engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with the master program.
• Maintain accurate records of schedule updates, revisions, and project milestones.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer within the construction or contracting industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, planning techniques, and progress measurement.
• Proven experience working in both corporate and site environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMI-SP or PMP® Certification.
