Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline schedules using Primavera P6, including WBS structures, activity sequencing, and resource loading.
• Prepare 2-week, 4-week, and 6-week look-ahead programs to ensure project continuity.
• Update schedules weekly and monthly to analyze progress against the baseline.
• Identify variances, assess critical path impacts, and prepare detailed planning reports and dashboards.
• Monitor engineering, procurement, and authority approvals against the project schedule.
• Maintain delay/change event registers and support Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
• Coordinate with site teams, procurement, QA/QC, and subcontractors to align schedules with the master plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably within the UAE.
• Mandatory Primavera P6 Certification.
• Proven experience working on high-end residential, villa, or mixed-use projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and progress measurement.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• PSP® (AACE) certification.
• PMP® certification.
• Specialized training in TIA/Delay Analysis.
