Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Monitor project progress and performance against planned schedules to ensure timely delivery
• Identify potential delays and risks, and propose effective mitigation strategies
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to gather accurate progress data
• Prepare regular reports including progress updates, schedule analysis, and forecasts
• Conduct critical path analysis and provide recommendations to optimize project timelines
• Support project management in resource planning, allocation, and evaluating variations or claims

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or a related field)
• Minimum 12 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in construction or infrastructure
• Strong expertise in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or equivalent
• Solid understanding of project controls, risk management, and construction workflows
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale projects within the Middle East
