Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage an effective planning and progress control system to support Project Manager decision-making.
• Develop project schedules according to commercial needs, verifying feasibility and criticality.
• Monitor progress and identify deviations from the plan, estimating time impacts and monitoring corrective actions.
• Implement Planning and Progress Control Systems in compliance with Project Breakdown Structure and Company Standards.
• Coordinate with discipline leaders and managers to build activities, assign milestones, and establish logic networks.
• Prepare reference baseline documents and communicate scheduling requirements to execution teams.
• Perform schedule risk analysis for highly critical projects and coordinate qualitative/quantitative risk assessments.
• Maintain 90-day look-ahead schedules and issue weekly and monthly project reports for internal and client use.
• Support the contract changes and claims process by providing detailed time impact analysis.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project schedule development and progress control systems.
• Strong expertise in risk management and schedule risk analysis.
• Proficiency in project reporting and data collection.
• Ability to interface with various technical disciplines and management levels.
• Strong English language skills.
