Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and optimize production processes to ensure timely and efficient product delivery
• Collaborate with Sales, SCM, Customer Care, and Quality Control to consolidate Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)
• Formulate comprehensive production plans by assessing inventory levels, production capacity, and material availability
• Initiate purchase requests and manage material dispatch via ERP systems to support supply continuity
• Monitor production workforce proficiency and coordinate with third-party assembly suppliers
• Manage production data across ERP, SAP, and file servers to facilitate analysis and continuous process improvement
• Confirm manufacturing availability dates (MAD) in SAP to guarantee reliable delivery commitments to customers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial Management, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred)
• Experience in production management and production planning
• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP and production management systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating across various organizational levels and cultures
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in engineer-to-order (ETO) or custom product manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of abatement and ACM systems
