Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6
• Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect actual performance
• Conduct schedule analysis and forecasting to identify critical paths, bottlenecks, and risks
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to gather accurate progress data
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly progress reports to management and stakeholders
• Perform risk assessments related to project timelines and assist in developing mitigation plans
• Identify opportunities for schedule improvements to enhance project efficiency and on-time delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in planning and scheduling within the construction or interior fit-out industry
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of local construction practices and regulations in the UAE
