Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including WBS, activity lists, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
• Create, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Coordinate resource allocation for manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress against KPIs and develop mitigation strategies for delays or risks.
• Prepare robust Extension of Time claims using Impacted as Planned and Time Impact Analysis methods.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to communicate project updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and risk registers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Planning Engineer or in construction project management.
• Native or bilingual proficiency in German (essential).
• Proven experience within the UAE market.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Certified Planning Engineer (CPE) designation.
• Familiarity with the Audio, Visual, and Lighting industry.
