Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, including WBS, milestones, and critical path.
• Monitor project progress, update schedules, and perform variance analysis such as SPI and float tracking.
• Develop and submit weekly and monthly progress reports (PPRs), project dashboards, and S-curves.
• Perform forecasting and completion projections, recommending recovery plans when necessary.
• Integrate procurement, FAT, and delivery schedules into the master project plan.
• Maintain risk registers and conduct Time Impact Analysis (TIA) for delay events.
• Support the preparation of EOT claims, delay notices, and contractual correspondence.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure schedule alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or equivalent).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in EPC, construction, or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of planning, forecasting, and delay analysis.
• Experience in progress reporting, S-curves, and dashboard creation.
• Familiarity with EOT processes and contractual frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience in delay claims and EOT preparation.
• Exposure to multi-site or fast-track projects.
• Familiarity with professional document control systems.
