About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, logic-sequencing, and maintenance of fully integrated Master Project Schedules (MPS) using Primavera P6.
- Perform advanced critical path method (CPM) analysis and forensic delay analysis to identify bottlenecks and prepare recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with Cost Engineering and Project Management teams to ensure schedules are resource-loaded and aligned with Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.
- Interface with clients, PMO leads, and subcontractors to facilitate planning workshops and secure baseline milestones.
- Support quantitative schedule risk analysis (QSRA) to evaluate project completion threats.
- Prepare high-level dashboards, variance analyses, and monthly progress reports for executive leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project planning and scheduling for large-scale infrastructure or utility projects.
- Expert-level mastery of Oracle Primavera P6 and proficiency in Microsoft Project.
- Direct experience working on mega or giga-scale infrastructure projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) or the GCC region.
- Deep understanding of construction sequencing, resource leveling, and critical path analysis.
- Exceptional English communication skills for presenting complex data to diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional credentials such as PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional).
- Experience with advanced analysis tools like Acumen Fuse or Tilos (linear scheduling software).
- Proven ability to mentor junior planning staff in high-performance environments.
