Planner I

Responsibilities

• Create and balance production plans based on the master schedule, accounting for internal capacities and manufacturing constraints.
• Manage and update production orders within the ERP system (AS400) to reflect changes in Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Expedite production orders and communicate priorities to the internal material supply chain.
• Coordinate production order reschedules based on material availability and track material rejects.
• Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, procurement, and sales departments to maximize output and customer satisfaction.
• Review inventory levels and customer orders to recommend system adjustments that maintain high service levels with low inventory.
• Utilize modeling data and optimization simulations to perform recovery scheduling.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in Materials and Logistics or Planning within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using Planning Systems and understanding material movement on the production floor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management.
