Planner

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, business development, and product line management teams to develop and maintain accurate rolling forecasts to drive procurement activities.
• Monitor and analyze demand trends to proactively adjust forecasts and plans.
• Work closely with production planners to ensure production schedules align with customer requirements.
• Proactively identify potential material shortages and develop mitigation plans to prevent production disruptions.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for inventory turns, lead time performance, and slow-moving inventory mitigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, computer science, purchasing management, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in a planning role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems.
• Fluent in both oral and written English and Mandarin.
• Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) relevant laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree.
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of cross-cultural differences in a global business environment.
