Planner & Buyer

Responsibilities

• Work closely with global SCM/PLM to manage demand visibility and order placement requirements
• Place internal purchase orders to APAC plants and coordinate expedited confirmations to address gaps
• Identify critical risks and allocate orders among plants to ensure balanced performance
• Develop and execute inventory strategies for high-running items and manage excess/obsolete stock reduction
• Provide logistics guidance to plants based on trade incoterms to balance cost and agility
• Maintain accurate costs in SAP and monitor PO payment status, including invoice approval and troubleshooting
• Support DMO teams with new part number, vendor, and price creation in SAP
• Assist warehouse teams with stock discrepancy clarity and adjustments
• Participate in key account meetings and support optimization projects or initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (SCM)
• 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or project management
• Proficiency in ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills
• Experience working within a multinational company

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Understanding of cultural differences in a global business environment
