Planner 1, Production Planning

Responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for production planning systems, including SAP, MES, and auto-scheduling/dispatching systems.
• Lead production planning virtual factory improvement projects and automation initiatives.
• Serve as the focal point for system changes and process improvements within the production planning team.
• Design and implement auto-scheduling and dispatching logic and define business flows.
• Collaborate with automation teams to prioritize projects and analyze data to improve automation KPIs.
• Support digital twin simulations to enhance ARV efficiency and utilization.
• Work cross-functionally to achieve KPIs related to build plan execution, OTD, inventory management, and cycle time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Management, Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in production planning.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, MS Visio, and SQL.
• Ability to multi-task and manage critical, tight schedules in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Strong data analytics skills with experience extracting and manipulating data from multiple sources.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP PP (Production Planning) modules.
• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
• Deep understanding of manufacturing and production planning processes.
