About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify, foster, and maintain relationships with potential and existing experiential education sites and industry partners
- Facilitate student placements and prepare students for the non-academic aspects of experiential programs
- Conduct information sessions and workshops to communicate expectations, requirements, and policies to students and preceptors
- Coordinate the submission and tracking of required documentation to ensure compliance and maintain accurate records
- Draft written communications, including FAQs, emails, slides, and reports, for students and stakeholders
- Resolve placement-related issues and escalate complex problems as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Business Administration, Human Resources, or Education preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in a co-operative or experiential education environment
- Proven experience in student advising, coaching, and guiding work-integrated learning programming
- Demonstrated experience in complex scheduling and database management
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Canvas or similar Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience in data analysis, compiling reports, and facilitating workshops
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a university or highly complex public sector environment
- Knowledge of human resources practices, including workplace standards and employment legislation
- Familiarity with CORE ELMS and eValue software
