PK–2 Instructional Coach

Responsibilities

• Coach PK–2 teachers through classroom observations, real-time feedback, modeling, co-planning, and instructional data analysis
• Support implementation of rigorous, standards-aligned literacy and mathematics instruction
• Develop teacher capacity in foundational literacy, guided reading, and math discourse
• Partner with campus leadership to strengthen early literacy and mathematics curriculum implementation
• Support intervention systems, including guided reading and tutoring systems
• Analyze academic performance and literacy progress monitoring data to identify instructional gaps
• Design and facilitate professional development sessions focused on early literacy and mathematics
• Support inclusive practices for multilingual learners and scholars with disabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Demonstrated success improving early literacy and mathematics outcomes in PK–2 settings
• Strong knowledge of foundational literacy instruction and early numeracy development
• Strong understanding of data-driven instruction and curriculum implementation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree
• Prior experience coaching teachers or serving in instructional leadership roles
• Experience leading professional development
