Piping Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate piping installation, fabrication, erection, testing, and reinstatement activities at the project site
• Manage piping foremen, pipe fitters, welders, helpers, and subcontractor manpower
• Monitor progress of piping works to ensure completion within approved project schedules
• Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, and planning disciplines to resolve site issues
• Ensure installation follows approved drawings, specifications, and welding procedures
• Verify availability of materials, pipe spools, valves, fittings, and supports
• Supervise fabrication, fit-up, welding, alignment, and mechanical completion
• Oversee pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, and drying activities
• Monitor welding compliance with approved WPS, PQR, and project requirements
• Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and permit-to-work systems
• Conduct site inspections and safety briefings

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
• Minimum 8 years of experience in piping construction activities
• Strong knowledge of piping fabrication, erection, installation, and testing
• Familiarity with ASME B31.3 and API standards
• Knowledge of welding procedures and inspection requirements
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Willingness to work in remote locations
