Piping Stress Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform stress analysis for WHP, fixed, process platforms, tie-in platforms, and FPSO systems
• Carry out necessary calculations to ensure all loading conditions are considered within the design
• Ensure piping systems comply fully with specified stress analysis requirements
• Issue approved stress isometrics for critical lines as required
• Prepare stress calculation reports and nozzle load summaries demonstrating ASME code compliance
• Confirm design of piping, pipe supports, and special piping (SP) items meets industry standards and project specifications
• Provide plant layout comments and loads to other disciplines
• Manage special piping item calculations, drawings, data sheets, and requisition worksheets
• Develop pipe support drawings, locations, and requisition worksheets

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 4-8 years of experience as a technical professional in piping stress analysis
• Proven experience with stress analysis for WHP, fixed, process platforms, or FPSO
• Strong understanding of ASME codes and industry standards
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle projects involving multi-center execution
