Piping & Layout Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform technical piping and layout engineering tasks including design, verification, and study activities
• Interface with Project Specialists, Designers, and Draftsmen to coordinate technical activities
• Develop plot plan layout proposals and manage Bills of Materials
• Analyze technical documents, specifications, and calculation notes to assess scope and potential risks
• Monitor and report progress for discipline activities, including 3D checks and man-hour control
• Provide technical support to Procurement, Subcontracting, and Construction teams
• Participate in test circuit verification and provide field engineering support during construction and commissioning
• Assist with engineering adjustments on-site and manage material at the site

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Proven Field Engineering experience to support fabrication and commissioning activities
• Fluency in the English language
• Ability to work offshore on a vessel in Qatar
