Piping Drawing Checker

Responsibilities

• Check pipe spool fabrication isometrics against client drawings, scope, and specifications for accuracy and manufacturability
• Mark up errors and re-check corrections made by drafters before drawings are released to the shop for fabrication
• Ensure all work aligns with client project scope, department standards, procedures, and guidelines
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail while working under pressure to meet project deadlines

Requirements

• Education in Mechanical Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in Piping Engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Knowledge of various metallurgies
• Basic understanding of non-destructive examination (NDE) methods, heat treatments, paint, and welding procedures
• Strong organizational and communication skills (both oral and written)
