Piping Designer Junior

Responsibilities

• Create 3D pipe routing outline drafts and detail drawings at both product and plant levels
• Design and select required pipe supports
• Align with static and dynamic pipe stress engineers to ensure design integrity
• Review and release designs in accordance with contractual and internal requirements
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across different departments and locations
• Coordinate deliverables with other relevant disciplines, including layout, automation, and civil engineering

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of 3D CAD programs (experience with Aveva E3D, AutoCAD Plant3D, or Hexagon Smart3D is a plus)
• Willingness to travel (average of up to 2 days per month)
• Experience in piping engineering within the petrochemical or energy industry is a plus
